After 10 years of experience, I find the results achieved to be extremely encouraging. Having applied the method described above to our vines, we find that they are in perfect health, they do not suffer from mildew, nor oidium, nor mites or vine pests and this without using any chemicals. The harvest has not changed in terms of quantity (with an average yield of 35 hl/ha over 15 years, this has not been our priority). We have seen a slight improvement in quality but this needs to be looked at in greater depth and verified by analysis.

Now, nothing would make us abandon biodynamic practices, quite the opposite in fact. That said, you must be aware that you have to pay much closer attention to the vines - but that is the least you should do anyway - and the wine grower must be available at all times, since the crop calendar which orders the various tasks to be performed does not let you take time off for holidays and feast days.
