A straw-coloured robe and aromas of fresh quince are followed by a suave, full mouth. Good ageing potential. Vouvray – Le Mont 1999 The 1999 is on the winning straight like the 2000. Sparkling Vouvray One of the best of the appellation, the Huet estate always produces magnificent sparkling wines. Over the last few years, they seem to possess a little more “matter” while maintaining all their natural elegance. Sure, it may not be a scoop, but these wines are always superb.
